Dr. I.R.Bhattacharjee, a farm scientist of Assam Agricultural University developed concept of intrinsic gravity in biology on long tiring effort of more than fifty years. As per concept, similar to astrophysical bodies like star, sun, earth, moon etc.; the force of self gravity operates in every living organism. Literatures on biological science were so far silent in this regard. Hence it is considered as one of the most path breaking concept in life science and named as ‘Self gravitation bio’ in 2008. Dr. Bhattacharjee developed the concept on deep understanding of nature including living world, mostly through self-regulated learning on cross-disciplinary subjects, without formal schooling in various disciplines of science. To protect intellectual assets and advance his creativity, “The i3GB Foundation” has been formed, so that as Association of members in the form of society it can act as parent organization and fulfill its desired mission.
The foundation shall be a not-for-profit association to patronize new life science biophysics discipline “Self gravitation bio’, sprung from the notion on ‘biomechanics of intrinsic gravity’ of Dr.I.R.Bhattacharjee, in order to advance further from existing nascent stage to final destination through conceptual, empirical with need based experimentation on identifying gap areas of investigation and to act as parent organization to translate existing virtual internet (VI) set up to real estate Institute for Intrinsic Gravitation Biology (i3GB) in addition to cross-disciplinary educational institutes for self regulated as well as directed or formal learning in various fields related to the development of human welfare and knowledge.
Office of the Society is situated in the Province/State Shantibon, Godwin School Road, Sarusojai. Guwahati-781 036, Assam, India
Aims & objectives of the Association
I. To formulate policies, schemes/programmes, execute/ implement projects for advancing various aspects of self gravitation biology (read as biomechanics of intrinsic gravity), its related cross-disciplinary fields for promoting research, education and dissemination of knowledge which are in the interest of the humanity in matters of science and technology related to living organisms, especially for ‘hale and hearty glow of human health’ on the principles enshrined through self gravitation bio.
II. To act as parent organization to translate existing virtual internet (VI) set up into establishment of real estate “Institute for Intrinsic Gravitation Biology (i3GB)” that can carry out research and education in such frontier areas of science and can relate intrinsic gravity in biology or put effort in contributing advancement of human knowledge on ‘self gravitation bio’ and to evolve innovative technologies for sustained knowledge on all living organisms, especially for ‘hale and hearty glow of human health’.
III. To undertake fulfillment of its objectives, if needed on opening branches and chapters, on promotion of science of self gravitation bio through publication of journals and holding seminars/symposia on thematic topics, providing incentives through certificates/medals/prizes to the professional members for their outstanding contributions, fostering liaison with other societies/academies, and maintaining specialized information/data/ inputs with regard to its discipline/ specialization, including protection of pioneer creative scientific works of Dr. I.R.Bhattacharjee through mechanism of appropriate intellectual rights for bonafide dissemination to the community or stakeholders, and to do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects including self directed learning.
